Brookdale, has that perfect blend of scenic charm and community warmth. But even in a place this peaceful, home security is something you can’t overlook. As intruders get smarter, your system needs to stay ahead. That’s why having a reliable security setup isn’t just a bonus—it’s a must.
Protecting your home and family starts with understanding the value of smart surveillance. At Alpha Omega Electric, we provide top-tier home security systems designed with Brookdale homeowners in mind. You’ll get advanced features, custom-fit setups, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing your home is secure.
Our Scotts Valley office is a straightforward drive from Brookdale, up Highway 9 through the valley, and the same licensed electricians who wire these homes install and set up their camera systems. That matters this deep in the redwoods, because a surveillance system is only as good as the wiring, network, and placement behind it, and out here every one of those is a challenge. We design, install, and support camera systems built for a remote forest home. Being based nearby, we actually make the trip to set a system up and back again to tune it, which not every installer will do this far out.
We plan each system around your property and your concerns, install it cleanly, and make sure the footage is there when you need it. That reliability is everything out here.
Brookdale sits at the north end of the San Lorenzo Valley, a scattering of homes among tall redwoods on quiet roads well off the highway. Internet service is thin, power fails for days in storms, and a property this remote often has no wire and no signal reaching its far corners. Watching a home out here is a different job than watching a house in town, and a system that depends on steady internet or grid power will let you down exactly when you need it.
The point of a camera out here is to watch what you cannot see from a place that help is far from. We build the system to record and keep working on its own. That self-sufficiency is the whole point out here, where a problem can go unseen for days and help is never close.
Working without reliable service comes first. We set the system up to record locally, so your footage is safe on site even when the internet drops, and where you want remote access, we work out the best uplink for a place with barely any signal. For the distant edges of a big parcel, we use long-range cameras that reach the boundaries and approaches a short-range unit never would.
We put the recorder and network on battery backup so the cameras keep watching through the multi-day outages the forest brings, and we lean on rugged, self-sufficient gear, including solar cameras, built to run on their own in a place no one can tend daily. We choose gear proven to survive the damp, the cold, and the isolation, over anything that needs babysitting. The result is a system that keeps doing its job when everything around it is against it. For a home this remote, a camera you can count on is worth far more than a fancy one that quits at the first outage.
Every installation is done by licensed electricians and built to keep working.
A lot of installers treat Brookdale as too far to bother with. We do not. Our team knows the upper valley and comes prepared for its remote properties, and we are here for the tuning a system needs. We build our name one job at a time, so every Brookdale home we protect gets our full attention, up the wooded roads at the top of the valley.
With break-ins and package thefts on the rise, a dependable home security system isn’t just a smart upgrade—it’s a must. Homeowners need 24/7 protection that safeguards both their property and the people they care about. A well-designed surveillance system offers that peace of mind with constant monitoring and real-time alerts.

At Alpha Omega Electric, we believe real home security begins with understanding your space and what’s most important to you. That’s why our process is clear, customized, and focused on giving you reliable, long-term protection.
We start with a one-on-one consultation to learn about your goals, concerns, and what you want from your system. Next, we evaluate your property—considering layout, lighting, and entry points—to find the best camera placement. From there, we recommend the right equipment and create a tailored setup to make sure your home is fully and effectively covered.
At Alpha Omega Electric, we understand that every home is different—and so are its security needs. That’s why we create fully customized systems built to match your lifestyle, whether you’re in a compact apartment or a spacious home. Our systems integrate smoothly with smart devices like Google Nest and Wyze Cam, giving you full control from your phone or tablet.
We focus on total coverage with no blind spots. That means carefully planning camera placement based on your home’s layout, main access points, and how lighting changes throughout the day. A video doorbell keeps watch at the front door, backyard cameras help deter intruders, and driveway cams monitor vehicle activity. We also protect often-overlooked spots like side gates and back entrances.
By tailoring every system and placing each camera with purpose, we make sure your home is fully covered—so you can feel safe and secure, from every angle.
