Our Preventative Maintenance Plans: What's Included

Whole House Safety Inspection

Comprehensive check of electrical panels, wiring, and connections.
Testing of all outlets and switches, with documented results.
Inspection of safety switches, emergency cut-offs, and grounding systems.

Functional Testing

Load testing of circuits to identify potential overloads.
Inspection of the main meter panel, HVAC electrical components, and temperature testing of outlets and appliances.
Testing of smoke detectors and carbon monoxide systems.
Lighting integrity inspections.

Preventative Repairs & Upgrades

Immediate bids given for remediation of faults discovered during the inspections.
Recommendations for system upgrades for enhanced safety and efficiency.
Optional installation of additional safety devices (e.g., surge protectors).

Tier 3 (Bronze)

$49.00 per month

Continues until canceled (6 month minimum)
(1) Visit per sign-up/renewal
Advanced Scheduling (72hrs)
5% discount on all bids
Free equipment upgrade on existing equipment failures (some exclusions apply)
Annual inspection and maintenance appointments, including comprehensive reports and recommendations
Whole home surge protection inspection (if installed)
Thermal imaging hot spot detection on main and sub-panels

Tier 2 (Silver)

$69.00 per month

Continues until canceled (6 month minimum)
(1) Visit per sign-up/renewal
Preferred Scheduling (48hrs)
10% discount on all bids
Free GFCI circuit protection upgrade on all new circuits
Biannual inspection and maintenance appointments, including comprehensive reports and recommendations
Whole home surge protection inspection (if installed)
Smoke detector testing
Warranty: Parts and labor costs covered

Tier 1 (GOLD)

$89.00 per month

Continues until canceled (6 month minimum)
(1) Visit per sign-up/renewal
VIP Scheduling (24hr or same day)
15% discount on all bids
Free GFCI circuit protection upgrade on all new circuits
Free equipment upgrade on existing equipment failures (some exclusions apply)
Waived Emergency rates
Biannual inspection and maintenance appointments, including comprehensive reports and recommendations
Thermal imaging hot spot detection on all electrical panels and devices

Terms and Conditions

Upon selecting the desired Tier Plan, you are required to contact the AOE team (via email at zach@aoesantacruz.com, duncan@aoesantacruz.com, or by phone at (831) 282-6035) to confirm your choice of Tier. Once confirmed, the applicable monthly charges will be billed to your account on the same day that you approved the estimate until you contact the AOE team to unsubscribe. These charges will be billed at the rate specified in this estimate.

Early Cancellation and Discount Reversal

Should you decide to cancel your Preventative Electrical Maintenance Plan (PEMP) prior to completing a minimum of six (6) months under the plan, any discounts applied to work completed during the term of the plan will be reversed. These reversed amounts will be billed to you in full. For example if the original value of a completed service was $10,000 and a 15% discount ($1,500) was applied to your selected Tier, you will be charged that $1,500 in the event of early cancellation.

Cancellation After Six (6) Months

If you cancel the Preventative Electrical Maintenance Plan (PEMP) after the six (6) month minimum term, you will not be required to repay any previously applied discounts.
